Hi! I have just discovered a problem. I am trying to add new variations (new fabric types and sizes) to an old/existing product. Every time I attempt this the product shows on the website as “Sorry this product is not available”.

If I delete the new variations that I attempted to add, the product then goes back to showing as available with no issues.

This has never happened before? I need to be able to add new variations to my products regularly, is there something I am missing that I should be doing or is this a Glitch with the new update?

(Using the updated version of both Word press and Woocommerce)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Check availability settings for the variations you add (in stock/out of stock). You of course need to have it “in stock”, otherwise it is not available.

All of the products are in stock at all times and have never been marked as out of stock, they don’t and never have had “manage stock” button clicked as these items are made to order. So that is definitely not the problem, the issue only happens when I try to add more variations to the product; if I delete the variations I tried to add it goes back to being available. Its very weird

The stock status dropdown is in effect even if manage stock checkbox is not checked. Do you have the default variation selected?

If that is not the issue in your case, more detailed info would be needed to help.

I think you are not understanding the issue. The only time the message (Sorry this product is unavailable) appears is if I add new variation’s, and it appears on all other variations that were previously showing as in stock/available on that product (as they are never out of stock). As soon as those new variations are deleted all of the previous products go back to being available on the front end.

I am kind of stuck as I need to add new variations, but can’t if it is making each product and all of its variations out of stock by doing so.

Sorted it out. It is now working, I was looking at the product after I had added variations, but BEFORE I had hit the update button. (So silly of me).
