Cannot add newly-created bundles to a variation

Need help with an odd problem – probably overlooking something simple.

Today I created a few new bundles and was planning to add them as variations to a newly-created variable product. When I type in the new bundle’s name in the variation bundle’s “Search” field, none of my newly created bundles display. (Old bundles show up just fine.)

I’ve rebuilt the lookup fields, clear browser cache, etc., etc. What am I missing?
