Cannot add or edit any content- is 'update' URL wrong?
-
Hi there
I’d be really grateful if anyone can help me here. I’ve been using WordPress for a few months now with no real problems. I have 3 hosted sites (2 of which are still working fine) all hosted in the same place.
This morning I’ve gone from being able to edit/post to being unable to. I can access the admin area fine, I can write etc, however when I click on ‘Preview’ or ‘Update’ etc within a post, page, or menus it seems the URL generated is wrong and I just end up with a white screen and no changes are processed.
This if happening for my domain pinkpromote.com. I’ve updated everything this morning as well as restoring everything but the database from a backup made two days ago (when all was working fine) via FTP.
On another WP site I run, i see the URL after an update looks like this: https://domain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=20&action=edit&message=1. With my problem site, clicking on ‘update’ within a page for example, links to https://pinkpromote.com/wp-admin/post.php
My site’s still ‘alive’ which is great. It just seems like I’m ‘locked out’. Any advice really, really appreciated!
Many thanks
