• Hi,

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add a border between the sidebar with the widgets and the body of the theme – It doesn’t have to be anything crazy, just a somewhat thin black line going along the inner side of each sidebar to create some separation between the body and sidebars.

Right now the background on each of them is white…everything kind of blends together.

Anyone know the code to do this? I can list the .php files and/or copy code if necessary…this is the last little tweak I need to make to my site and I CANNOT figure out how to do it! Please help! Thanks!

  • missing information:
a link to your site –
and/or the name and download link of your theme.

the changes will have to be done in style.css of the theme – adding a ‘border-left: 1px solid #000;’ or ‘border-right: 1px solid #000;’ to some of the styles.
but because most themes are different and use different div ids and classes to mark the sidebar and the center, you need to provide more information first.
