Cannot Add Slider Text

    I have setup the featured slider just like the demo on the Axle Themes site, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to add any text. missionlawnservice.com is my site. I’ve added a widget to the widget area, but I want text on top of my background just like the demo. screengrab

  • I am also facing the similar issue. The slider setup is kind of difficult.

    Hello, @rmckibben
    The slider pulls the contents of the page selected on the Featured Slider option to display on the front-end. Meaning, the theme will display the featured image of the page as slider image, the title of the page as slider title and the content of the page as slider description. So, please go to the selected page and add a Title and Content to the page.

    So you’re saying I just enter content in the page as I normally would through the WP > Pages > All Pages > Home > Edit? Because that doesn’t display anything. I have about a full paragraph on that page but it doesn’t show up.

    Hello,

    Please check if you have disable caption form

    Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Featured Slider -> Slider Options and activate the Enable Caption checkbox.
