Cannot add url links and then logs in to different page?

  • Hi All,

    I have a real strange problem occurring, while in page edit mode I’ve been trying to add a url link from the dashboard on a page that has existed for a while now, but whenever I click OK it does nothing and boots me back out to all the pages I have in my admin panel. Anyone else seeing this and know how to fix it it?

    I have just downloaded and the uploaded latest wp-admin folder to see if this would sort the problem out, but it hasn’t. I did also install the FacePress II plug-in before this started happening, anyone else got issues?

    I have also just noticed that all my usual tags are missing and I am unable to add any new ones now too?

    Anyone else experiencing strange things in their WP dashboards?

    Un-installed FacePress II, made no difference! I am noticing lots of things not working in WP and my Photocrati theme. I cannot add NextGen galleries or Photocrati galleries, but at a loss as to what to try next, any suggestions anyone?

    Just another update and still trying to work out whats happening. I now cannot:

    1. Edit permalinks
    2. Add external links from text or images on pages or posts
    3. Links dropdown menu is empty, unable to select previous pages or posts
    4. Cannot add images, galleries (photocrati theme or NextGen)

    I have been emailing tech support with hosting company and theme provider, but no one yet been able to shed any light on the situation.

    Anyone else having these issues and how have you resolved them?
