cannot add widget to page

    Hi, this is a new site, recent created and we are starting to creating it with elementor but on the first page we created we try to add widget as title or buttons and so on, but no way the page to attach them… please see the video https://youtu.be/rIg-n7WHkxM

    what can be?

  • I have the same problem with Chrome 97. Try Chrome 96 or Firefox (both of them work for me).

    Hi,

    This issue is usually caused by outdated browsers or incompatible browser extensions.

    To troubleshoot this issue, follow these instructions:

    Update your browser to the latest version or switch to another browser to see if the issue is related to the browser version or type.

    Try working on an Incognito browser tab to see if the issue is related to contrasts with any browser extension.

    When using certain themes like Storefront, Avada, etc, when the Elementor footer is active and the page template is set to Default, the footer overlaps with the editor area. This may also cause this issue. To fix this navigate to Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS, from your WordPress dashboard:
    .elementor-location-footer { clear: both; }

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

    I have Versión 13.1.3 (15609.4.1) of safari, the last stable version for catalina OS.

    I tried the incognito, but no way, the issue is still there.

    I tried to add the css, and the same, issue still on.

    I understand the issue still persists.

    Have you tried using another browser? there are known issues with the editor when using the safari.

    Hi, on chrome 97.0.4692.71 it is working, and same Apple on safari 13.1.3 (15609.4.1) that is the last stable version for catalina OS is not.

    Hi,

    As @talmo mentioned there are some known issues with the editor when using it on safari.

    As a workaround, please try editing for now on the stable versions or using another browser such as Chrome.
