Cannot Add Widgets to Right Sidebar

  • Hello everyone! I’d appreciate it if someone could help me out real quick.

    I recently installed the free theme BonPress from WPZOOM. The custom menu appears on the left sidebar and everytime I try to add a widget to, presumably, the right sidebar(as with most themes).. it only appears off to the left underneath the custom menu.

    Is this simply the way the theme is meant to be viewed or is there a way that I can add widgets and have them appear on the right side? I’d like to give my site a more balanced look.

    Sorry.. it should be noted that my homepage is static.. perhaps that has something to do with it. Also, the site is ActualCopywriting.com … that right side seems so open and desolate, I feel something should be able to be put there.
