cannot authenticate

  • Having trouble with basic authentication, it says:

    Failed authentication.

    I thought maybe it needed some time to ‘refresh’ on AWS end so i waited 24 hours, same issue. I created root keys in AWS although they advised to create an IAM user. Not sure if there are some settings in addition to creating the API keys I need to do in AWS. Anyway, what is solution for this? any other user experiencing this problem? By the way the link in the plugin for the documentation is dead. The site is https://www.pleaseorderit.com (there’s not yet content using auto links because i just installed it to configure it).

    Hi,

    It may be that your email address registered for AWS is not the one used for the Amazon Associates account. They have changed the rules and now you have to add your email address used for Amazon Associates in the credential management page in the AWS site.
