Cannot Authenticate

    I am trying to activate the Pardot plugin. I have followed all of the instructions to authenticate; however, when I click through to finalize the process, I get the following notification:
    error=invalid_client_id&error_description=client%20identifier%20invalid

    The only thing I have not been able to find in WordPress is the callback URL, granted I used this formula: https://[YourWordpressDomainHere]/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=pardot.

    Any advice on how I can get this authenticated? Or any insights as to why this isn’t working?

    Got this issue sporadically, I think its comes from the way I copied the consumer_key/secret

    Hi! I am not entirely sure what the problem was to begin with. I ended up deleting the Pardot plugin as well as the App Connection (in Pardot) and re-installed both. I was sure to copy and paste the consumer key/secret from Pardot to avoid any mistakes. Also, after setting it up, it took about 30 minutes before I was able to click authenticate and not receive the error message: error=invalid_client_id&error_description=client%20identifier%20invalid.

    Not sure if this helps, but I would recommend deleting/redownloading/reconfiguring and then giving it about 30 minutes after creating the app connection before trying to authenticate in WP.
