Cannot change anything – edit/add user, chg password…NOTHING.

    I just upgraded to 2.8 last night, and for some reason I cannot add any users or edit the existing admin account. I keep getting these simple errors:

    Your attempt to edit this user: “admin” has failed.
    Please try again.

    or

    Your attempt to add this user has failed.
    Please try again.

    And the “Please try again” just takes me back to the login page. I’m stumped. Can anyone help me?
