Cannot change background of Events element

    Hello! I’m using version 4.5.10 of The Events Calendar plugin with the latest version of the Eco World theme (making edits on the child theme). The events element appears on the home page about halfway down.

    This is a new installation. I imported the theme’s dummy data and found the events element on the home page with an unsuitable background. The actual calendar is ok. I’ve searched and cannot find a way to hide the background image using the interface. Before I dive into the code, can you help?

    Hi Bill!

    You can adjust how much the events pages inherit from the theme (to a degree) by changing the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Appearance > Display.

    Otherwise, you will likely need to dive into the code a little bit. I would recommend taking a look at the following article for some more information:
