Cannot Change Capitalization of tag

    Latest wordpress latest simple tags.

    I have tried renaming. I have tried deleting and re entering the term. I tried mass edit. Not sure why it will not allow me to change the case of the letter.

    Any ideas?

    WordPress ignores capitalization. Or rather, enforces it. If you are attempting to use a tag that already exists in the system with a different capitalization, then it will use the version already in the system.

    The Tag Managing Thing plugin will allow you to edit existing terms.
