cannot change the theme or add plug-ins

    I need help being able to add themes and plug-ins back onto the dashboard. I have tried to log in to my customers WordPress sight to change this and it says that the password was reset in 2011. The password should have been sent to the same email as the sight has. But, it is not I have tried everything to fix this problem.
