In order to get around this, you have to copy/paste the function to your function.php file, create a remove_action and then a add_action with a customized name. That’s the only way to specify the “to:” address as anything other than “wordpress@”.

To make email delivery more reliable, we use special email addresses with authentication (such as no-reply@). This should be configurable.

    Hi,

Can you confirm that you are talking about the To address or the From/Reply To address?

In the ChatBot general settings, there is an option to set the To email address. Is that not working for you?

We are also double-checking the email options. Thanks for your feedback.

Sorry, I meant the “From” address, yes. A) site owners may prefer to not have people know what software they are using, so “WordPress” does not appear in their emails. b) if someone has an address for sending emails through the website (such as no-reply@), they do not need to pay for another account for wordpress@ in order to use this plugin.

We released a new version with the From email option in General Settings.
    Truly appreciate your feedback.

    Thank you!
