    Thanks for reaching out. Usually, this happens when the request from Google with an auth code is blocked by some firewall like mod_security apache module set by your server. From the screenshots, it looks like there is the scope and code in the URL sent from Google is correct but something is redirected to 404.

    Are you using an older version of the plugin (the latest is 2.8.0) or have been using Gmail mailer for a while? In the newer version of the plugin, the authorization URL would be: https://connect.wpmailsmtp.com/google/ and usually fix such as issue. So, you might want to re-do all the steps in the Gmail mailer setup documentation once again.
