Cannot complete the purchase if the phone number is not Swedish

  • Hello!
    I would like to ask about a problem that a customer encountered on the albie.se webshop. When he tried to complete the purchase with a phone number that is not swedish, it did not work. Is this plugin made to work only with swedish phone numbers?

    The webservice account is from Resurs side setup as a Swedish merchant selling to Swedish customers. Therefore when trying to supply a phone number from another country than Sweden, the API denies the request.

    So in order to solve this he must be registered for selling to other countries then Sweden?

    Yes, he would need to contact his salesperson at Resurs to create new webservice account-/s for each country he’d want to support. So in order to support Norwegian phone number, a Norwegian webservice account must be created. Note that with the Norwegian webservice account, only customers with Norwegian social security numbers are supported as well. So we cannot mix Swedish and Norwegian customer data on a webservice account because of the setup in Resurs banking system.

    One other thing to take in consideration is that the plugin only supports one webservice account at the time. To have multiple logins, a network site with different urls is also required.
