Cannot connect FB Page

    Hi! I am no longer a admin on the Facebook page that my woocommerce store was connected to, and now when I try to connect via another FB Page admin, I get the following message ” Admin Permission Required
    You don’t have permission to edit these settings. Reach out to the admin of ‘Masters Touch Coffee Roasters’ to gain access.”

    Any idea how to get past this?

    Hi @sommersruth,

    Give the following steps a try to fix this:

    • Ensure that you are both the admin and owner of the Facebook assets
    • Confirm you have 2FA enabled for the Facebook account you are using

    If you’re still unable to connect:

    • Go to https://<your-site>/wp-admin/options.php and search for wc_facebook_external_business_id
    • Update field to include only supported characters and save (best practice: store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q ← 13-digit random string
    • Go back to WooCommerce > Facebook and click “Get Started” again

    Ok, I was able to get a few screens further with this help, but when I got to the screen to choose a page to connect, it says “Contact the admin of business for permission to connect this Page” even though I am the admin. Any additional updates I need to do?

    Thanks for getting back to us on this. That message looks to be something you should address with Facebook. The “Page” referred to there is your store page on their end rather than in your site. They should be able to share more about what this means.
