Cannot connect / set up Jetpack

Out of (seemingly) nowhere today Jetpack disconnected itself. When trying to reconnect it, I keep getting the same error message, “An error occurred, please try again.”
When I click on the “Debug” link at the bottom, the page says, “Your Jetpack setup looks a-okay!”
IF I click on any other Jetpack link (Dashboard, Settings) it shows the “Set up Jetpack” banner. Not sure what to do as I’ve exhasted every possible angle I can think of including going through the Known Issues page and the “Fixing Jetpack Connection Issues” page.
