    I have developed a site – https://fynbosdesign.co.za/
I am using Cloudflare as a CDN and I am trying to connect this site to Wordfence Central.

The problem is that it keeps blocking it from connecting because of Cloudflare. I have created a Firewall rule in Cloudflare but it still knocks me out.

    Could you please assist?

    Thank you!

Hello @pathfindergrant, thanks for dropping us a message.

Head over to Wordfence Central, go to the Connection Issues tab and clear out any sites that might be in here.

Now visit your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow.

Let me know how you get on.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Sorry, none of the above worked. is there anything else I can do?

Hi @andyentre thanks for trying that, there are some more things we can try.

Firstly, have you also tried creating an admin account in WordPress with the same email that you have used to register the Wordfence Central account? If not, please do so and once you have the account, sign in as that admin and try connecting from the Wordfence Central Status widget on the Wordfence Dashboard page.

If that hasn’t worked for you, could you please send us a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

Note: For the fastest response time, please make sure and add any information or questions directly to this topic and not the email address above unless asked.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi Peter,

Thank you. The first solution did not work.
I have sent you the diagnostic report as requested. Thank you!

Hi @pathfindergrant, thank-you for sending the diagnostic over to us.

We’ve had a chance to take a look at it and we see that your URL becomes this:

    https://example.com/?v=e14da64a5617

Geolocate in the Woocommerce settings causes this query string to be appended to the URL. When turned off, Wordfence Central usually connects the site normally afterwards and the Geolocate feature can be turned back on. Please can you give that a try for me?

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi @pathfindergrant,

I trust that the method above resolved this query for you, and if you have any further Wordfence questions in the future please don’t hesitate to start a new topic and we’ll be glad to help you.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
