    Hello,
When trying to connect to dynamics crm, I get this error:

Unable to connect to Dynamics 365: curl version < 7.34 and TLS 1.2 is not supported. Please upgrade curl and/or the TLS library of your choice. Check whether you selected the appropriate deployment type and that CRM URL and credentials are correct.

    How do I resolve this?
I know this is not a credential issue has I can login to dynamics 365 online
with the admin user and password that I use for this plugin.
And it was working before, not sure what changed over the weekend.

    Thanks,
    Kodor

    Hi Kodor,

Dynamics 365 Online now requires TLS 1.2 to connect. Without that, the connection will fail with a generic SSL error. You can resolve the issue by upgrading your hosting server environment so that curl is version 7.34 or above. If you’re using third-party, contact their support.

Note that version 7.34 or curl was released in December 2013 so I’d say it’s time to upgrade.

    Best regards

Just to add: if your environment was working against Dynamics 365 Online instance then you can downgrade the plugin to continue. However, it will be just the matter of time until it will stop working when TLS 1.2 is enforced on your online instance.

    Hi,

I have the same issue and my curl version is higher than 7.34.

I have checked that the account I am using is valid and have the permissions to access Dynamics 365 Online.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Is there any way to get more debug information out of the plugin, so I could see where is it actually failing?

    Many thanks,

    Olli

    Hi Olli,

on About tab, switch logging level to Debug. Try to connect again and after that switch abck to About tab, download and email logs to [email protected]

    Thanks
    George

Thanks George. I have emailed the support.

    Regards,

    Olli
