Cannot connect to facebook

  • I’ve enabled facebook as one of the feed options and put in the page ID of the facebook page. This is the id, which works for other feed readers: 289849067704612

    However, this plugin is unable to grab the posts from the facebook page. Even after resetting and manually fetching the feeds. Other social media networks work though, for example, I can load my vimeo feed.

    How do I get the facebook feed though?

    Update: I found this out from a paid plugin:

    If you have a Facebook page with a URL like this: https://www.facebook.com/your_page_name then the Page ID is just your_page_name. If your page URL is structured like this: https://www.facebook.com/pages/your_page_name/123654123654123 then the Page ID is actually the number at the end, so in this case 123654123654123.

    I’ve tried the above instructions too, on a few pages, doesn’t work.

    Working great for Twitter and Instagram, but I’m having some issues connecting with Facebook…. No error messaging, just nothing being returned.

    Anyone have some insight into what might be the issue? Given that the plugin hasn’t been updated for some time.
