    Hey,
The updated facebook plugin does not work. tried to connect woocommerce v2 with Facebook, and it only leads to an error message page. Saw quite a lot of people are expericing the same issue as we do, so I guess there is something wrong with the new updated plugin. Question: Any solution that we can solve this problem?

  • Hello,

Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’m sorry to hear that you’re running into this issue as well – you are correct that we have been receiving similar reports from other users.

The team over at Facebook is looking into this on their end, and our team is working closely with theirs to get a resolution out for this as quickly as possible. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience that this is causing!

In the meantime, you can downgrade to the previous version to get back up and running. To use the older version, please deactivate and delete the plugin, then upload and activate this version:

Because you are reverting back to the old version you will have to set up the plugin and re-connect to Facebook, so please head to WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce to set up the plugin.

Please keep an eye on the following announcement for more information on this issue and to keep updated on any new developments:

Can I help with any other questions for now?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
