    Hi,

I noticed that my Google for WooCommerce plugin lost its connection to Google Merchant Center. I tried to reconnect but I got an error complaining about the lack of a Jetpack install. Since your FAQ said Jetpack shouldn’t be required, I clicked the “Disconnect from all accounts” option and attempted to reconnect that way.

Connecting to WordPress.com and Google Ads worked fine, but with the Merchant Center I see a dropdown for “Select an Existing Account.” Great! Except the dropdown options contain all my Google Merchant Center accounts EXCEPT the one associated with this site.

I’m not seeing any errors in the console or in the logs, so I’m not quite sure how to diagnose this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you’re facing an issue linking your Google Merchant Center account.

As a first step, could you please confirm to having logged into the correct Google account that is linked to the Google for WooCommerce. Once that is done, please try and follow the steps detailed here.

Should the issue persist, please share a video recording of how the issue behaves so that we can have a visual understanding on this issue.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I have double checked that the account is correct. I also tried disconnecting the Google Account and reconnecting it.

I’ve done the video recording you requested. Where do I upload it so you can see it?

    Thank you.

    Hello @nextwavingit,

For recording a video, you may use https://loom.com or https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/ and share a link here.

You can upload the video on a cloud storage such as Google Drive and share the publicly accessable link as well.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I am having a similar issue. The only difference is that I do have jetpack installed but I am getting the same error stating that jetpack isn’t installed.

I have tried clearing my cache. Deleting and reinstalling jetpack. Reconnecting to both jetpack and google for woocommerce. Nothing has helped.

    Hello Sam Wave,

Thank you for sharing the video.

After watching the video, I noticed that all the accounts that are available in the dropdown are your Businesses while the missing account Oberwerk is a sub-account.

I suggest you also contact Google Support and confirm if there are any issues.
This problem could be due to permissions issues on Google’s end.

Let me know if you find any new information.
I am here for your support.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

I decided to just blow up the Google Merchant account and start over with a new Merchant account (not sub account). I just knew reconfiguring things would take less time than dealing with Google’s “support.”

Unfortunately, now I’m back at the original error that prompted me to disconnect the accounts in the first place. Like with @zanniap, I get an error saying that there’s an error granting Google access. I click “Grant Access” and then I get an error saying that it can’t connect to the site or Jetpack isn’t installed. Although I don’t want Jetpack (and the plugin documentation claims I don’t need it), I installed it and connected to our WordPress.com account and I still get the error.

    Quick update:

This error may be a false positive. With the new Merchant Center account my products are showing. I’m going to troubleshoot by making changes to some products on the site and seeing if the syncs show up in Merchant Center.
