Cannot connect to Jetpack

    I was using publicize through jetpack for facebook and was working fine, then it stopped working.

    Reading the forums it said to disconnect and then reconnect. I disconnected but now can’t reconnect. I get the following error:

    “Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://ruralpatientsupport.com [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 56: Recv failure: Connection reset by peer]”

    Can someone please help me.

  • I’m getting errors as well. Regardless of what I try, I get the error “There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again or contact support.”

    “Connection reset by peer” implies it’s something on the host dropping the request, try disabling any firewall plugins, if that doesnt work, maybe the corresponding error log on the host will tell you the cause.

    @shonaguthrie: I had a look at your site, and Jetpack seems to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Have you managed to solve the issue by yourself?

    If not, could you please let me know the exact steps that result in the trouble? Please be sure to include any relevant screenshots and error messages.

    Thanks everyone, I just waited a few days and then tried logging back in and it worked. No idea why it didn’t in the first place.
