Cannot connect to PayPal Donations

    I tried to connect to our PayPal account by clicking on the “Connect with PayPal” button on the PayPal Donations tab under the Payment Gateway for GIVEWP. A popup window to login to PayPal came up, I entered the emailID and password and it logged in successfully and I got the message “You’ve successfully authorized Give” with the Check mark, adn the “Go back to Give” blue button also. But when I get back to my Settings page, it still says “PayPal is not Connected!

    Can anyone assist us in connecting the Give.

    Now, on the PaylPal Standard tab, I just entered the email ID in the PayPal Email field and Saved. There was no issue there, but not sure if it is connected either!

    And finally on my page it shows that the correct options, but after I enter my credit card details, the page just sits there and the green circle keeps spinning. Not connecting to PayPal. Is there anything that we have to do in PayPla to connect?

    We’ve seen various errors with folks trying to connect to the PayPal Donations gateway, and at this point all issues point toward something on PayPal’s side. We are working closely with PayPal to resolve these issues, and figure out what’s going on, but as I said, the issues are all on PayPal’s side at this point.

    Here’s what has worked for some folks:

    It seems that using an incognito browser somehow aids in making the connection. So try logging into your WordPress site in an incognito browser and see if that connects without issue to PayPal.

    If you are still unable to connect even when connecting with an incognito browser, we’d like to gather a bit more information about what’s going on, and have set up a special form to gather that information.
