    Hi there. When I am creating a new doc and choose to add a new docs category from there, then:
    (a) when I publish the doc, the newly created category is not assigned to the doc
    (b) the category does not show in BetterDocs categories taxonomy page but if I visit its URL manually I can actually see it.

    Fyi, I can create categories from BetterDocs categories taxonomy page directly without problems.

    Hope the above make sense.

    I’m using WP 5.9 with Elementor Pro.

    We’ve pushed an new update(v2.0.7) yesterday where we fixed this issue.
    So please update your BetterDocs plugin to get this fixed.

    Hi Abid,

    I created a category from the WordPress post edit menu using the “Add a new category” button using the 2.0.6 version. But now, its not visible on the better docs categories page. I’m trying to create a new category of the same name but it won’t allow me (other names are working). One more thing, the category is visible on a single post page.

    I’ve tried updating to the new version 2.0.7 but still working. I cannot delete the old category no matter what.

    Should I go ahead and delete the respective database entry?

    I’m using WP 5.9
