Cannot create a static homepage

    I’m using free versions of both Virtue and Pinnacle (just a newbie to wordpress theme customization). I have problem with both on creating static homepages. Here’s my case:
    1. My web is tubingo.co –> Homepage is tubingo.co
    2. My portfolio: tubingo.co/tiles
    3. Now I want the portfolio is the static homepage. I changed in Settings/reading. It’s not working. Homepage is still 1., not 2.
    4. Now I try to access the link in 2. again, it’s automatically redirected to 1.
    In other words, I can’t see my grid portfolio page again.

    Hey,
    So you can’t use a page template on the front page. Unfortunately the free version doesn’t have the option of making your homepage a portfolio page. With the premium version there’s an option to add portfolio posts through the homepage layout manager. Or you could add them through a shortcode. But the free theme doesn’t have these options. Sorry!

    Thank you Hannah,
    I thought that was an error. Actually, I’m trying basic features on the way of upgrading to premium version.
