Cannot create full width container in posts

I used to use sections and columns (which did stretch across the full post) but when I converted the top section to a container I could not get it to stretch the full width. Pages work fine, just not posts. I have tried every setting I can find but still no luck. I am using Elementor with the Customify theme.
