Cannot create new catagories or users

    I have seen this on the forums before but unfortunately the solutions offered there do not help.

    I did a cpanel fantastico installation of wordpress on my new site and it looked fine – no new themes (just a faviicon pluggin and all-in-one seo) which work perfectly on my other site

    I cannot create new catagories- i can update and modify others, I can create and edit and remove posts perfectly- I cannot create new users though either.

    Please help!!

    tried removing all the skins i uploaded and deactivating the pluggins and nothing worked – i also “tried” to redo my privileges or create a new user- but like i said above- i cannot create new users

    just did a remove and then reinstall- looks to be working fine
