• I started building a website on a self hosted nginx server for 2 days and everything was great. And it all worked and was pleased. Editing the pre existing pages.
However when i tried to add a page nothing happened.
    Pressing publish page. Nothing happens.

I did a complete fresh wipe and reinstalled everything. Same issue. Except this time the preview page button also never loads and is loading forever.

Its running on a self hosted debian Nginx machine. With all steps followed letter by letter. 3 times.

I am completely lost. Why is my website so incredibly broken?

TLDR cannot preview or create a new page

(Tried with fresh up to date wordpress with 0 Plugins)

I managed to actually get an error “Publishing failed. You are probably offline.”
Googling it something to do with https? Im using cloudflare. While i had access to the WordPress Site i went into settings and changed the http. To https. Now i get too many redirect errors trying to access it… F

I ran into this problem and fixed it when I figured out I had JavaScript disabled in my Browser. I was using Firefox with NoScript plugin and once I enabled JS, problem was gone.

I am also having a similar issue, where once I activate and set-up Jetpack, I cannot add new pages to the site. I get a 500 error. I am using Divi theme, and ET advised that I try this issue under a different theme. So I switched to 2021 and got the same error. When I shut off JP, I can add pages again. Please help us resolve this issue with JP breaking parts of my website

In these type situations your error logs can be a valuable source of information. Have you checked them to see if any useful information?
