Update: I restored the website backup of yesterday, this made me loose some website changes and pages ????????? but the plugin is back working and protecting.

All my try to look into the database to delete all database stored and created about this extension was just creating more damage as seems deactivating the plugin and activate again never help me to reset and so resolve the settings issue.

Also if my website is back live and is working now would be interesting to hear from you how the plugin can be completely unistalled in the case like mine where something was corrupted and create issues.

Now I’m scared to try to activate again the Analysis mode. Once active I was no more able to deactivate as save never save the deactivation of that. I tested in a clean WordPress version and I was unable to produce but this issue create a not nice issue on my website and looks there is no option to reset the plugin and the database.

My intension was protect the newsletter subscription form in my website footer:

Would be useful know how in the case of issue can resolve and reset the plugin or deactivate from the database or where it needs the Analysis mode.

    Cheers and hi again!

I am reading the first time about this problem.

If the problem was really related to a database error, it should be noted in your php log files. Did you take a look for the respective day, when you tried to change the mode? If you find something, please give me a note.

I guess it was rather a JS-error. If this ocures again, please check the JS-error log of your (f12).

For testing purposes I am usually using a pre-prod environment, that mirrors the most current prod stage from just before the change.

The easiest way to reset the plugin is, to delete it and install it anew from scratch.

    Ciao,

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias ??
I’m sorry about be here about reporting this issue.
It is nice to read your reply, I hope you are well ???

I checked now but I cannot find any relative error in the logs.

I tried to unistall and reinstall the plugin but this never reset settings and the Analytic mode was always active and saving deactivated was not saving as deactivate.

I looked in the database for deactivate manually the Analytic mode but was not present any database row about that.

Without an option to start with the default settings the only way to fix the issue was restoring a backup. I loose some edits that I done to the website and I have again edited what was lost. I lost some time to restore all.

Maybe a way to reset settings will be useful.
