Cannot deactivate Polylang

It’s the same issue of this topic, when your try to deactivate Polylang, since another plugin or your theme use a Polylang function : https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/white-screen-after-deactivation?replies=9

It’s specified too in the Polylang documentation:

“IMPORTANT: when using one or more of these function, you *must* check for the its existence before using it, otherwise your site will badly break with a fatal error at next Polylang update (as WordPress deletes the plugin when updtating it).”
