Cannot Delete Comments Evolved

Hello, I truly LOVE and appreciate your plug in and I plan on to keep using your masterpiece for it is immensely helpful and beneficial. However i ran into some touble. I changed the favicon on my site but comment evolved keeps using my old favicon. The favicon url and name ( favicon.ico ) have not changed. i merely just replaced with the new one. but comments evolved seems to keep using the old favicon. in an attempt to fix this issue i decided to delete your plugin and re install it again, but i cannot seem to do this. I deactivated the plugin in wordpress dashboard, then every time i try to delete it wordpress tells me You cannot delete a plugin while it is active on the main site. Also the delete option does not show up next to it when plugin is already deactivated. How can i go about deleting it? Thank you for your time and wonderful plugin.
