Cannot Delete or install

I had a copy of google analyticator in my wordpress site for quite awhile and never had any issues until today.

I pulled up my index page and had some php errors from the plugin. When I tried to log in to WP I had the white screen of death.

I opened up my ftp program and renamed the folder. Obviously WP came back after renaming the offender.

Well I tried to delete the plugin out of wordpress and then reinstall a fresh copy of the plugin.

That would be great and that is a pretty simple solution however every time I dleted the google analyticator folder when i refreshed the web server the folder and google analyticator.php would come right back. Tried to dlete that multiple times and it kept coming back.

I also tried to overwrite it with a fresh copy of google analyticator and the files are on the server, and in WP but when I open up my plugins page in wordpress there is no plugin installed anywhere.

Kind of at a loss here. Anyone got a clue how to remove and reintall this thing.
