cannot delete Primer theme

    My guess is that you haven’t deactivated the Primer theme first. If the theme is active, then you’re not going to see a delete link. You’ll want to first activate another theme, such as Twenty Nineteen. The delete link should then appear.

    Let us know if that helps.

    Edit: I just saw in the other thread that Primer is not active. You’ll also want to ensure that none of the Primer child themes are active. If you have any child theme installed and active that is dependent on Primer being available, then the Primer delete link will not be visible.

    If you are using a child theme of Primer, then you cannot uninstall Primer or else the child theme would be unusable.

    Right, thank you. It the about the Stout theme [active], which is a Primer child theme. https://www.ads-software.com/themes/stout/
