• I am attempting to use the Sharing Sidebar. I have the following option turned on in my WordPress dashboard: Share Buttons by AddThis >> Advanced Options >> Display Options >> Include an option to turn off sharing tools by post (Recommended)

However, when I edit a specific page in WordPress and turn off the Share Buttons for just that page, the buttons do NOT disappear from the page.

I have also tried going to the AddThis Dashboard >> Tools >> Sharing Sidebar Settings >> Advanced Options >> Hide On These Pages… and entering in the URL of the page to hide the buttons from, but the buttons still do NOT disappear from that page.

Please let me know how to turn off the buttons from individual pages. Thanks!

    Hi Brian.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, we don’t support turning off the floating tools by post, only the tools added above and below content. I understand the language in the meta area is confusing and will see about getting it updated.

    Thanks,
    Julka

Yeah, tweaking that language would be sweet. Running into the same issue. Would like to have an ability to hide all share settings if we choose to do so. Also, a shortcode option would be cool.

    Having this same issue.
