Cannot dismiss database update notice in WC 4.1

  • Cannot dismiss database update notice in WC 4.1
    WooCommerce database update done
    WooCommerce database update complete. Thank you for updating to the latest version!

    When clicking the ‘Thanks’ button, the new page opens with
    Wordpress error – Action failed. Please refresh the page and retry.

    Refreshing has no effect.

    I have checked database for the wc-update-db-reminder notice, and was set to unactioned, I have changed the status to actioned – but to no effect.

  • @paulcobb – we’ve seen some random reports of this issue. To fix the problem, you’ll need to access your site’s database and make the following changes:

    1. Access the wc_admin_notes table
    2. Locate the wc-update-db-reminder entry
    3. Change the status of that notice from unactioned to actioned
    4. Save

    This should then either dismiss the notice or allow you to dismiss from your dashboard.

    That entry is currently ‘actioned’ as I mentioned in original post.
