    Hi all,

how do I get the html shortcode to display properly? I have this shortcode:

    [cfdb-html form=”Contact form 1″ show=”text-578″] <p style=”float:right;”>${text-578}</p>[/cfdb-html]

When I paste this to a post I would expect to have text-578 to display as text on the right of the post content. However all I am getting is a link displaying my html code. When I click on the link then I do get my text on the right of the screen but on a blank page. Is there a way of displaying the text inside the post content?

    Thanks,
    Harry

What you have to do is edit the post and switch from “Visual” to “Text” and paste the short code while in “Text” then save.

What is going on here is that you made the short code in the short code builder where it produced the short code text formatted with a link on it to display test output. When you paste that into a post in “Visual” mode, WordPress takes all that literally. I think this is behaving different since WP 4.0. Anyway, always paste short codes in “Text” mode.

Well, should have really thought about that myself.

Anyway, thanks Michael and really really big ups for this excellent plugin.
