Cannot do auto updates of plugins

Although I can automatically update the main UM plugin, whenever I try to auto update the other plugins I get this error message:
An error occurred while updating Ultimate Member – Social Login: Download failed. SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate
Is this a problem at your end or mine?
