cannot download a theme

  • This is what I do:
    Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
    Select the Design subpanel, then Themes.
    From the ‘GET MORE THEMES’ section, I click on theme title (or theme screenshot) for the theme I wish to activate.
    I press the button ‘download’. The theme (zip folder is downloading).
    Then nothing happens – I cannot find the theme anywhere!

    The below does not work for me or I use it in the wrong way:

    ‘You can find additional themes for your site in the WordPress theme directory. To install a theme you generally just need to upload the theme folder into your wp-content/themes directory. Once a theme is uploaded, you should see it on this page.

    I never see it on my page.

    Can anyone please guide me?

    It’s not ‘downloaded to WP’, but to the place on your PC you chose when it said “save file”!

    To install a theme you generally just need to upload the theme folder into your wp-content/themes directory.

    Then unzip it and do what you say yourself, upload it, using FTP or something, to the themes folder. Then you will see the theme in your WP admin.
