Cannot drag and drop images after upgrade to WP 4.0

I have an existing gallery that I added an image to and it puts the image at the bottom of the grid. I want it at the top, but if I try to drag and drop, nothing happens. This happened after upgrade to WP 4.0. If I uninstall/reinstall plug-in will I lose all of my custom links and have to redo them?
