Cannot edit any pages

  • Hi everyone!

    I really could use some help, I have been using wordpress for many years now, still no expert by any means tho.

    Yesterday I added a page to my worpress site and tried to go in and edit it but only the HTML tab is working, visual won’t work or cannot edit the permalink..nothing on the page works..

    I have changed themes, tried on 3 different browsers, re-installed wordpress, cleared my cookies etc.. just have no clue what to do?

    Please can anyone help?

  • Hello,

    Go to admin panel, go to the Users => Your Profile make sure that Visual Editor check box is unchecked.

    Thanks for that, yes it is unchecked, i can now edit using virtual editor but cannot change (edit) the permalink for the page, I have the wrong URL but cannot change it?

    Still behaving very strangely.When i click add new page or post i can write the page fine, no issues but then once i have published the page when i go back into it everything is unresponsive. cannot click visual tab or add media or anything?

    Really dont know what do do? this is on all pages and posts?
