Cannot edit color of menu text

  • I am launching a new site using GeneratePress. First time using GeneratePress. So going through trial and error.

    Also have not launched site yet so no link to site.

    I created a new menu. When you create a new menu the text color is blue. Which I guess is default color when creating a menu.

    Question

    Wanted to change text color of menu. Went to customize and then color. Did not see option to change color of menu text.

    Do you need to upgrade to premium in order to change text color of primary menu?

    Also may want change background color of menu to black for example. Then change edit menu text color to white for example.

    Do you need to upgrade to premium in order to edit and customize those changes.

    Would appreciate a response.

    ?No, you shouldn’t need GP Premium to achieve those changes.
    ?
    ?You can try changing Navigation Background and Navigation Text colors in Appearance > Customize > Colors > Primary Navigation.
