Cannot edit homepage. Text and Visual editor are blank

Hey, Im a new employee at a company that is currently reworking its wordpress website.

I did not set up the website and I am not a techie so its easy for me to get over my head with this kind of stuff.

However, I need to make edits to the homepage but the text does not appear in either editor. Is this some sort of glitch, or was the page created in a way that requires no text to be displayed in the editors? Most of the other pages are fine with the exception of the clients page.
