Cannot Edit Image Sizes

  • I used to be able to upload images into my posts and determine how big they are (i.e. thumbnail) and where they were postioned.

    After the 2.8 update, I cannot upload the image without it being full size. I cannot determine where it goes either. If I upload the image it has to be full size (0x0) and thenumbers from all the other options have disappeared and I can no longer insert pics without them being over-sized.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I haven’t, but I’ll give this a shot.

    I have tried several themes including default theme, but that does not seem to be the issue.

    I’ll have a look at the plugins option though, thanks.
