Cannot edit my website

    I created my website approximately 2 years ago and haven’t edited it for over 12 months. I now need to make considerable changes to it but when I log into it, three website names appear – all variations of my actual website name but not the actual one – and none of them display my website. They’re all completely blank but my website does still exist.

    I have never found WordPress particularly easy to use/navigate/understand so fully appreciate this will be user error but I don’t know where to go from here. Is anybody able to help me? I really need to edit the site.

    A good starting point is to establish contact with your hosting provider, to then gain access to the files behind your website. This will help you when resolving issues that prevent you from getting into your WordPress dashboard.

    First step: can you log into your site?

    https://getitrighttraining.co.uk/wp-admin/

    You should be able to log in with your user ID or email address for that user ID. The password may need to be reset and the login page has a link for that.

    Once you get to your dashboard then we’ll see if you’re able to modify pages or posts on your site.

    HI Jan
    Yes it let me log into the site using the link above, however, it still didn’t show me my actual site – just the option of three blank ones. I called GoDaddy who host the site and they informed me that I had entered the wrong password and got me into my account. I’m still not sure it did in fact let me sign in and gave me the option of three websites – all of which were blank – but I can now edit the site.
