Cannot edit or change image on homepage

    I have installed the Ascend theme and did not realize the steep learning curve. So I decided to import a demo to try the reverse engineer technique. My problem is that the demo page feature image cannot be changed. I deleted and re-created a homepage using the settings> read which worked…sort of. Home button does not appear and the image did appear but below the front page. I would be extremely grateful for any help. I hope I posted in the right section if not…my apologies.

    Yeah, there is certainly a learning curve, but I’ll be happy to help you in any way!

    For the main image on your home page, you can change that in Appearance> theme Options> Home Page Header.

    Then the rest of your home page content will be set in Theme Options> Home Page Layout.

    So I have seen that page so many times but I did not realize that the link on the very bottom was the culprit. Thank you so much for the help.
