All of the ajax links under in the “Publish” section of post.php?action=edit have stopped working for me. I click the ‘Edit’ link and nothing happens.

I’ve been having this issue since upgrading to 2.9, and it persists in 2.9.1. For the life of me I can’t tell why this is happening. Any thoughts?

Found the problem – The ‘More Fields’ plugin.

A fix can be found at the support forums below if anyone else has the same problem:

I’m having this exact issue and I’m not even using that Plugin.

deactivate all of your plugins and see if the problem goes away. If it does, reactivate your plugins one by one til you find the culprit

I was having the same problem and upgraded podPress to the latest version and now I can edit publish date. Strange.

I’m having the same problem; none of the “Edit” links under Publish work.

I am getting a JavaScript error when loading the page. Object expected error on line 1791, on post.php

Deactivating all my plugins doesn’t help.

    WordPress 2.9.2.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Spencer.

I’m having this problem as well since upgrading from v2.7.x to v2.9.2.

The workaround for now is to do the publish functions from the edit posts page using the Admin Management Xtended plugin.

    UPDATE:

The More Fields plugin fix mentioned above fixed this problem. However the fix affects the collapsibility of fields in the edit page.
