Cannot edit wordpress gallery

  • Hi,

    I am unable to edit my WordPress gallery.

    Previously when the cursor hovers over the gallery area in my page, the edit icon will area and clicking on it bring me to the edit screen.

    Not hovering my cursor over the gallery area in my a list of image ids appears. Clicking within the area the edit and delete gallery icon appears. However, clicking on either will have any effect.

    Can anyone help?
